Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions prior to shopping online with us.  By using our website and purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Pricing and Payment

All prices on the Zohar Gallery online store are stated in New Zealand Dollars, including goods and services tax (GST) of 15% and exclusive of delivery costs.  We reserve the right to change any price without warning.  We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the integrity of pricing.

We accept payment by direct deposit and credit card (MasterCard and VISA. Sorry, we do not accept AMEX & Diners Club).  The payment gateway we use is called Paypal.   In using this system, it means we do not record your credit card details and it is a secure gateway for online payment.  If you are interested in reading more about Paypal you can see their website at www.paypal.co.nz

Online Process

We must receive payment in full before your order can be accepted and despatched.

All items are subject to availability.  We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you’ve ordered are not available.  We have a physical gallery which shares the stock inventory so if a one-off item is purchased in our gallery at the same time an online purchase is made then the online item will not be available.  We will contact you with options or provide you with a refund.

Cancellation

Please shop carefully, once you have placed your order and payment has been made cancellation is solely at the discretion of Zohar Gallery.

Returns and Exchanges

  1. Sale Items

There will be no returns or exchanges on discounted items.

  1. Faulty goods

In the event of the goods being faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and provide a suitable remedy.  

Please advise us within 2 days of receiving the goods and the return of the faulty goods must be received by us within 14 days.

In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase.  Shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing to hello@zohargallery.co.nz for consideration.  Please include the circumstances and reasoning behind your request. We will endeavour to reply within 7 days.

  1. Change of mind

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about your purchase, so please choose carefully.  Exchanges are at the sole discretion of Zohar Gallery.

Content Accuracy / Colours

We carry a high percentage of handmade and original pieces, which may mean that the online image is only indicative of the actual item.  Meaning, at times there may be some variation between the actual item and the online image.

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of publication.  Every effort has been made to portray the colours of our products as accurately as possible.  We cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software you use nor can we guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Privacy and Security

We are committed to protecting our customer’s privacy.  Zohar Gallery will never distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance.  The information we collect is used solely to process your order and stay in touch with you.

Overseas Purchases

  1. If you live overseas and would like to purchase an item from our online store please email us with details of the item(s) you wish to purchase and your location (city and country); 
  2. We will be happy to advise you of the suitability/risk for shipping your desired item and provide a quote for the cost of packaging and shipping.
  3. New Zealand GST (15%) is not payable when we ship direct to you overseas.
  4. Please note Zohar Gallery online store has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.

Delivery Schedule

The majority of items are sent to you by courier using a track and trace system.  In some cases items are sent by NZ Post.

Within NZ please allow 3–7 working days for delivery on stocked items. 

We exercise the utmost care in packaging your purchase but have no control over its treatment by the courier / postal services.  Any insurance cover (if required) is the responsibility of yourself as the purchaser.
